Beachwood Place and Style DNA are proud to present the Second Annual Form to Fashion program– an exhibit of student fashion designers from the leading fashion, art and design schools in Ohio in the spring of 2012. This year, each Form to Fashion applicant had the unique opportunity to design a garment for celebrity model Lorelei Shellist to wear as she hosts the world’s largest fashion film festival, the La Jolla Fashion Film Festival, taking place in La Jolla, California from July 26-28, 2012. The top designs were showcased on www.formtofashion.com and the top designs were on display at Beachwood Place on the center court display platform. Over the course of the exhibit, Beachwood Place shoppers had the opportunity to vote on their favorite overall garment at Beachwood Place or online at www.formtofashion.com. The Form to Fashion design program presented two prizes this year. A Form to Fashion gift package was awarded to the designer whose garment received the most votes as determined by both the online and in mall voting process. In addition, one lucky design was selected by Lorelei Shellist and a panel of fashion industry professionals to be worn by Lorelei Shellist at the La Jolla Fashion Film Festival. The Lorelei Shellist design winner also received a $500 Beachwood Place gift card and other prizes. Both winners were awarded at the Form to Fashion finale showcase in June 2012.
